At your face on vinyl the process we use is unlike to any other portrait printing process. where you can have your photos digitally edited in a choice of generic styles; cut out, poster, fashion, art deco, pop art…

we
hand design, hand cut
Although photoshop is used during the design process every other element of the process is completely human controlled.
We hand cut all our stencils (it is a lengthy process but it’s also impossible to have a machine and computer do what we do!) and we hand spray paint all
the stencils (as opposed to normal photo boutiques), again a machine cannot use spray cans and therfore cannot get the same level of feeling and effect on the art work. When you order a custom canvas from other photo booth effects services you are getting nothing more that a one-click image conversion along with a computer printer printing your piece onto canvas (we only use a printer to make our stencils – which we then hand cut).
Our artwork is made by established legal and street artists (certificates of authenticity can be requested) – the art you buy from us is more likely to rise in value!
every art piece we create gets the same attention as any other art work you w
ould find featured in established galleries. We stress that although we make art on a consumer level our artists our of professional level and have over 10 years experience exhibiting in galleries. We decided that art should be available to everyone on a custom and affordable level!
Be assured that when you buy from your face on vinyl you are being high quality art work made by real artists!

Making your photo into a stencil is a complex process. It can be even more difficult when the submitted image is in need of a lot of digital manipulation. The image preview we send you is important for adjusting ratios and inner dimensions of the art piece. The colour scale should just be considered a rough guide to tones. If you are not happy with the image at this stage we can tweak it untill it suits your needs. Most of our customers give us complete control of the design process. We have never had anyone be dissapointed yet.

This part of the process relies heavily on the skill of cutting a good stencil. Sometimes inexperienced stencil cutters can leave out a lot of the details within you photo. We make sure we keep a good balance of stylistic and accurate. Sometime our customers ask to cut out some details (such as warts etc.) or sometimes the photos benefit from slight manipulation to fit the dimensions of your art piece.
This part of the process is where the artistic element is very important. Although anyone can cut a stencil and grab some spray cans or an airbrush and spray – not many people will be able to create something of artistic merit. As artists we have many years of experinces working with canvas, spray paint, colour tones and we only use premium quality materials. In the photo above you can see the famous Montana Gold and Montana Black spraypaint series. We also use a high quality laquer finish that is the same as they use on cars, motorbikes and industrial processess. Although we wouldn’t advise it – you can potentially eat food of it and then wipe it clean afterwards!
